Islam dan perdamaian global

he word "salam" which means "peace" in all its derivative forms is mentioned and constantly repeated in the Quran. Islam is derived from the same root as salam. Islam, therefore, is a religion of peace. Once peace in the soul is implemented, peace in the world becomes a natural consequence. No peace on Earth is possible without a prior peace in the self. Islam as a religion of peace is conceived for the benefit of man, not for the benefi t of God. Peace i s 1 i nked to justice. Injustice is the main and primary cause of war. Justice requires an even relations between two equal partners.

f you want peace, work for justice... .The opposite of peace is violence. If we analyze violence we discover that there are two fundamental forms of violence. The first is "horizontal violence," the violence between persons, the violence that is visible and shown on television. The second kind of violence is "vertical or structural violence." It is the violence that is the result of how power works to privilege and protect itsel second kind of violence is often is the violence that results from in corporate board rooms taken by powerful internati by powerful nations, vertii violence is always more destruction.
